Volkan Rodate

The craftsman Alberto F. Paronelli hand-crafts Volkan pipes using Sardinian briar from the Gallura region. His workshop is located in Gavirate (VA). A passion for pipes has been a hallmark of his family since 1945, first with his grandfather, Jean Marie Alberto Paronelli, and then with his father, Antonio. Today, through Volkan Pipe, Alberto preserves and carries on this family passion; in his workshop, he oversees the entire pipe-making process, personally supervising the various stages of hollowing, cutting, boiling and curing.
