Ardor Rodate

The history of Ardor pipes dates back to 1911, when brothers Federico, Carlo, Cornelio and Francesco began producing briar pipes. Federico’s son, Angelo, continued the business alongside his own son, Dorelio, who gradually began producing entirely hand-crafted pipes as well. Today, production is carried on by Damiano Rovera, Dorelio’s son, who personally oversees the selection of the finest seasoned briar from Sardinia, Liguria, Calabria and Tuscany. He crafts pipes in classic and freehand styles with classic finishes such as rustic, sandblasted and smooth, as well as unique and unconventional finishes, such as the Meteora, Spirale, Alveare and Goccia finishes.
