"Becoming involved in a passion at a young age means being captivated by it for the rest of your life. In my case, it all began in 1972, during my military service, when I bought a piece of briarwood and enjoyed carving it into a pipe. What started as a simple game turned into a lifelong passion. In the years that followed, I deepened my knowledge of Erica Arborea, immersing myself in the centuries-old culture of pipe making. In 1984, I began signing my creations with the brand name 'La Pipa di Viprati' and, shortly afterwards, I met Alberto Paronelli, a well-known manufacturer and founder of an important pipe museum.
