Claudio Cavicchi began producing his pipes in 1986. He drew on all his experience as a smoker to create beautiful pipes right from the start. He is very meticulous and loves things done well. This means that his pipes are finished to perfection in every detail, making each piece unique. The briar is mainly from Calabria and Liguria, and many of his pipes are flamed. He produces around 500/600 pipes a year, almost all of which are for the foreign market.
