Capitello was born from the passion of Enzo Galluzzo, a skilled craftsman trained through years of work at Ascorti and Caminetto. With the death of Peppino Ascorti in 1984, he opened his own workshop in Lenate. Production has always been purely artisanal and limited in number. Capitello closed in 1991. For a certain period, it produced Oil Cured pipes and was practically the only Italian company to do so in the 1980s.
