Nørding Rodate

Erik Nørding was born in Copenhagen and began making pipes as a hobby, but it soon became his profession. He became famous in the 1970s for the originality of his designs, which were typically Danish in style. His first pipes were called Son and Ålborg, whilst he later signed them with his own name. 90% of his production is exported, and America is where he enjoys the greatest success. Even today, he produces pipes with a typical Scandinavian design, constantly inventing new finishes and original details.
