Jeantet Rodate

The first Jeantet pipes were made in Saint-Claude back in 1775. In 1807, the company began producing ceramic and cherry wood pipes, and it was not until 1858 that the first briar pipes appeared. The company produced pipes of varying quality for many years, eventually employing over 100 workers. Jeantet closed in 1989, but Jeantet pipes produced by Comoy can still be found today.
