Massimiliano Rimensi realised his dream and founded the Duca Pipe artisan workshop in Ferrara in the early 1990s. He is an eclectic craftsman with a distinct artistic flair. He loves to experiment with different materials, guided by exquisite taste, in order to achieve artistic results that are not merely for their own sake but are functional and harmonious, giving his creations lines and combinations that are far from ordinary. Using briar that has been seasoned for several years, his pipes are renowned for delivering a consistently fresh and dry smoke. His Bog Oak pipes, with their simple yet original lines, are particularly famous.
