Ascorti Rodate

Roberto Ascorti came into contact with the world of pipes at the age of 10, when his father Peppino began his career as a craftsman producing pipes at the newly established Castello. He attended art school and cultivated his passion for pipes in his father's workshop, which he frequented assiduously. In 1980, he opened his own workshop under his own name, Ascorti, and began producing his own pipes. He was joined by his brother Pierangelo and his father Peppino, who in the meantime had closed the historic Azienda Caminetto. The participation of the latter's collaborators also proved invaluable. Ascorti thus had the experience, skill and quality that Peppino Ascorti had gained over years of work, to which Roberto added new models and innovative technical solutions. The pipe was a great success both nationally and internationally thanks to its new style and design, which captured the imagination of pipe enthusiasts. In the following years, his son Tommaso also joined the workshop, bringing with him original and appealing ideas which, while respecting the artisan tradition of Ascorti, ensured continuity towards a future horizon.
