A brown Savinelli 2000 semi-rustic pipe with a black methacrylate mouthpiece, in the original straight ‘Fancy Bulldog’ style. The pipe is designed to be smoked with a 6 mm balsa filter. The upper part of the bowl is hexagonal, giving it a style all of its own. The pipe is very elegant, with the briar inlay on the mouthpiece lending it a refined touch; a design that never grows old. It is of medium size and stands out for its spacious bowl, which guarantees excellent smokeability in any situation. Its lightness, resulting from the long curing of the briar, makes it ideal for any smoking session, whether out for a walk or comfortably seated in an armchair. The 2000 series was created to celebrate the new century. It featured a model that had never been made before and will never be repeated. Available in various finishes and colours, it was produced using the finest briar available, ‘extra extra’, for a smooth smoke after a short break-in period. It was a limited edition created for a select few enthusiasts of the brand. A remarkable pipe with an extra twenty years of ageing.
The pipe for sale is exactly the one shown in the photos. Once sold, as it is handmade and therefore unique, the pipe will be removed from the website. The actual colour of the pipe may vary slightly from the photo as every monitor has its own colour tone. The dimensions have been measured accurately but may vary by a millimetre, either way.
