Sesa Rodate

Branko Sesa was born in Croatia in 1962. He has always worked with wood, but it was when he arrived in Turin about twenty years ago that he began making pipes. Thanks to the experience and valuable advice of his friend Mauro Gilli, he started his own workshop. Given his innate curiosity, he experimented with many types of wood before settling on briar, olive wood and Bog Oak (Morta). The latter characterises his production, as he has stocked up on excellent quality raw materials in Croatia. He mainly prefers classic shapes but does not disdain creating beautiful freeforms. His annual production is very limited but of undoubted quality.
