Diapede Rodate

Diapede was a historic pipe shop in Turin. Located in Via Monte di Pietà, right in the city centre, it specialised in meerschaum pipes, of which Mr Diapede was a great expert. He was well known throughout Europe, where he travelled to buy historic and unique pieces at meerschaum pipe auctions in London and Vienna. To satisfy his vast clientele, he had briar pipes produced in England. Pietro Diapede passed away in the early 2000s and the shop closed in 2004.
