Loewe Rodate

Loewe was a historic pipe-making firm founded in London in 1850 by a Frenchman, Emil Loewe. It claimed to have been the first to produce briar pipes in London. Whether this is true or not, it was a very important company in the British pipe-making scene. Renowned for its fine briar and classic designs, it enjoyed worldwide success. It is still in production, but since 1993, under new ownership, it has never managed to match the quality that made it famous. This pipe was produced before 1967.
