Becker & Musicò Rodate

Massimo Musicò began producing pipes under the Foundation brand after the end of production of pipes under the Becker & Musicò brand, with pipes made by Gian Gamboni, Flavio Benucci and Fabio Marchese. Foundation pipes were mostly sold only through the Musicò pipe shop in Rome. According to Musicò, Foundation pipes were priced not on the basis of their experience in pipe manufacturing, but only on the raw cost of materials and labour, demonstrating a desire to provide a quality pipe at a fair price. In 2005, they changed the name of the pipe line from Foundation to Foundation Club. The pipes were numbered with two digits, representing the number of years since the foundation and the number five, representing the year of foundation. The pipes were also marked with the initials of the designer, GM, MM, FM, FL or others.
