Barontini Rodate

Barontini is a well-known, long-established brand from Livorno, which has been producing pipes since 1890. The Barontini company was founded by Turildo Barontini, initially specialising solely in the sale of briar. The first pipe left the factory in 1925 on the initiative of his son Bruno. The actual, large-scale business, however, began with Cesare Barontini, the founder’s grandson, in the mid-1950s. Today, production is overseen by Barbara, one of Cesare Barontini’s daughters. Unfortunately, the company’s own production is now extremely limited, but is mainly geared towards the budget-conscious foreign market. At present, only the models from the “Stuart” line, marked by three dots on the mouthpiece, appear to be available on the market. Contract manufacturing, however, continues.
