Chacom

Chacom was born from the merger of two pipe manufacturers dating back to the 1800s, namely Chapuis and Comoy. In order to maintain their presence in the pipe market despite the looming crisis, in 1987 Chacom, Jeantet, Lacroix, Ropp and Vuillard merged under the name Cuty Fort Enterprises. The company still employs 46 people today. About half of the 185,000 pipes produced annually are marketed under the Chacom brand. They are designed by Yves Grenard and freehand artist Pierre Morel. The Cuty Fort Enterprises group's workshops not only manufacture pipes under their own brand name, but also pipes commissioned by many American companies, including Davidoff.
