A brown Stanwell Trio Smooth pipe, a classic straight 45-pot model with a black methacrylate mouthpiece. Trio Smooth rating. The pipe is very elegant and refined, with a classic silhouette typical of Stanwell. It features beautiful English-cut grain with a fine partridge-eye pattern on the front of the bowl, giving it a very stylish look. Although the grain is not uniform, the wood’s pattern is nonetheless marvellous. The pipe is of medium size and stands out for its more than decent bowl and excellent smokeability in any situation. Its lightness makes it ideal for any smoking session, whether out for a walk or comfortably seated in an armchair. A pipe with a classic silhouette, timeless and never tiresome. Its warm colour and triple ring give it great class. Stanwell’s Trio series is characterised by a triple ring that lends the pipe a superior class. The pipes are machine-carved but hand-finished and always feature beautiful, consistent grain. Sometimes the grain is not just beautiful but truly fabulous. It is available in both black sandblasted and smooth, glossy light brown finishes, complemented by the characteristic Scandinavian design. This particular approach of adapting classic models with the aesthetic philosophies typical of Danish Design is the reason Danish pipes have become famous.
The pipe for sale is exactly as shown in the photos. Once sold, as it is handmade and therefore unique, the pipe will be removed from the website. The actual colour of the pipe may vary slightly from the photo, as every monitor displays colours differently. The dimensions have been measured accurately but may vary by a millimetre, either way.
