A smooth, brown ‘Le Nuvole’ pipe, a straight ‘tronchetto’ model with a black ebonite mouthpiece. Rated 4 Nuvole. This pipe is a real gem, with its highly original design making it very elegant. Over the years, Maurizio Tombari has created his own original range of models, each with its own name, and this is the ‘tronchetto’. The bowl features a wonderful, even grain pattern across the entire bowl. A very comfortable pipe as it can be set down without falling over. It is medium to large in size and stands out for its generous bowl, which guarantees excellent smokeability in any situation. Its lightness, resulting from the long curing of the briar, makes it ideal for smoking both whilst out and about and whilst comfortably seated in an armchair. The smooth Nuvole pipes are graded from 3 to 8 Nuvole depending on the grain pattern. They are crafted in hazelnut, brown, red and amber colours. The briar used is of the highest quality, and each log is carefully selected by hand. The Nuvole pipes are the epitome of Italian craftsmanship at its finest, with a level of care and attention to detail that is virtually unrivalled. Every ‘Nuvola’ is a true gem, rare and precious, to be cherished with love.
