Charles Fairmorn smooth hazelnut-coloured pipe, classic curved bottle model with Cumberland ebonite mouthpiece. The pipe supports a 9 mm filter. The pipe is compact with beautiful flaming, very elegant and well balanced. The pipe is large and stands out for its capable bowl, which provides excellent smoking in any situation. Its lightness makes it ideal for smoking while walking or sitting comfortably in an armchair. Charles Fairmorn smooth pipes are all characterised by beautiful grain, which is enhanced by the classic models. The pipes were produced in the 1980s.
Charles Fairmorn is a tobacco manufacturer who commissioned his pipes from famous craftsmen. He had two production lines, one in Great Britain and one in Denmark, and all were strictly handmade. The ones we offer are all made in Denmark. The Danish production was carried out by prestigious craftsmen, including Helmer Thomsen, former manufacturer of Barì pipes. Most of the briar came from Italy, which is why we have pipes with a smooth taste that are easy to break in. However, as these pipes were produced more than thirty years ago, you will need to be patient at first, as it takes several smokes before the pipe performs as it should.
The pipe for sale is exactly the one shown in the photos. Once sold, as it is handmade and therefore unique, the pipe will be removed from the website. The actual colour of the pipe may vary slightly from the photo as each monitor has its own colour tone. The dimensions have been measured accurately but may vary by a millimetre, either more or less.
