Castello Trade Mark smooth brown pipe with black methacrylate mouthpiece, classic straight pot model 15. Rating 2 K. Castello represents the expression of the finest Italian craftsmanship, appreciated worldwide for its attention to detail and unparalleled taste. The pipe is medium in size and stands out for its large bowl and excellent smokeability in all situations; it is Castello's classic straight model, one of the most popular among smokers. The model is ideal for any smoke, whether you are out for a walk or sitting comfortably in an armchair. The low, wide bowl is ideal for flake tobacco as it oxygenates it more, allowing you to appreciate every little nuance. The floc joint on the mouthpiece is very convenient as it allows you to remove it even when the pipe is hot. A very practical pipe that can be put down without falling over. The Trade Mark series features pipes with no defects in the briar and no regular grain. The quality is the same as all other Castello pipes. It is available in hazelnut, brown, black, red and natural colours. Those with a cochineal red colouring are particularly sought after. Trade Mark pipes are highly appreciated as they are the same as the more prestigious Collection but at a lower price.
Castello is an expression of the finest Italian craftsmanship, appreciated worldwide for its attention to detail and unrivalled taste. Pipa Castello was founded in 1947 by Carlo Scotti in Cantù. He hired the best craftsmen to create pipes with harmonious shapes and perfect finishes, using impeccable construction techniques. The name Castello was chosen with foresight as it is similar and recognisable in many languages. Furthermore, Castello is synonymous with solidity, power and admiration. Over the years, Carlo Scotti was joined by his son-in-law Franco Coppo, who now runs the artisan workshop. Castello's strength is based on several factors. Firstly, the expert artisans who shape the briar with their decades of experience and skill. Secondly, the long-aged briar, which guarantees light and dry pipes. Finally, the rigour of Carlo Scotti first and Franco Coppo later in creating the best possible product that reflects excellent aesthetics without neglecting functionality.
