A dark red sandblasted Ashton pipe, a classic semi-curved poker model with a black ebonite (Asthonite) mouthpiece. Rating: XX. The pipe is very elegant and its dark colour lends it a touch of class. It is of medium size and features a discreet bowl that ensures excellent smokeability in any situation. Its lightness is also due to the special treatment of the briar, making it ideal for smoking both whilst out and about and whilst comfortably seated in an armchair. The double sandblasting makes it very pleasant to hold, as if it were ‘softer’ to the touch. Excellent for outdoor use given its reduced tendency to show scratches and marks. It is renowned for producing dry smokes.
The pipe for sale is exactly as shown in the photos. Once sold, as it is handmade and therefore unique, the pipe will be removed from the website. The actual colour of the pipe may vary slightly from the photo, as every monitor displays colours differently. The dimensions have been measured accurately but may vary by up to one millimetre, either way.
