A hazelnut-coloured, sandblasted Ashton Old Church pipe, a classic straight pot poker model with a black ebonite (Asthonite) mouthpiece. ELX rating. The pipe is very elegant, and the hazelnut colour lends it a touch of class. The pipe makes a striking visual impression thanks to its generous size, and the silver band adds a touch of class. A classic model with beautiful grain, highlighted by the fine sandblasting. It is large in size and features a wide, spacious bowl that guarantees excellent smokeability in any situation. The low, wide bowl is ideal for flake tobaccos as it allows for greater aeration, enabling you to appreciate every subtle nuance. Its lightness is also due to the special treatment of the briar, making it ideal for smoking both whilst out and about and whilst comfortably seated in an armchair. The double sandblasting makes it very pleasant to hold, as if it were ‘softer’ to the touch. Excellent for carrying about, given its reduced tendency to show scratches and marks. It is renowned for producing dry smokes.
The pipe for sale is exactly the one shown in the photos. Once sold, as it is handmade and therefore unique, the pipe will be removed from the website.
