Poul Winslow smooth brown pipe, classic curved Dublin model with Cumberland methacrylate mouthpiece. Estimated rating: Group C. The pipe is very elegant and refined, with a slender shape that gives it a superior class. Poul's artistic flair has created a Dublin with a fancy touch that makes all his pipes unique. The pipe is large and stands out for its more than capable bowl, which provides excellent smokeability in any situation. Its size makes it ideal for smoking while walking or sitting comfortably in an armchair. The grain is evenly flamed with a traditional cut, vertical flame and a dense bird's eye on the wide rim of the bowl. An extraordinary pipe that feels great to hold even when unlit. The pipe is used, smoked well and very little, mainly with natural tobaccos or English mixtures. Rating 9 out of 10. The pipes do not have their original bag or box. The pipe has a slight tooth mark on the underside of the mouthpiece.
Poul Winslow learned his craft in Preben Holm's workshop, where he also worked for a short period with Per Hansen and Ulf Noltensmeier, the current owners of the Bang brand. He managed production at Preben Holm for fifteen years and in 1985 decided to start his own business. His wealth of ideas and his courage in shaping forms and using unusual colours are the factors that characterise his pipes. Combining his customers' wishes with his own ideas is a constant challenge. He currently has two employees and together they produce around 3,000 pipes a year.
The pipes we sell second-hand are only from the best and most prestigious brands and are rigorously selected by me from private collections. The pipes in question must have been well cared for and smoked, generally having been smoked little, and are sanitised before being put on sale. Once selected, they are disinfected and the interior sterilised, the mouthpiece is sanded and the entire pipe polished, including the bowl and mouthpiece. Casaropipe guarantees that at this point they are ready to continue to give pleasure to a new enthusiast.

The pipe for sale is exactly as shown in the photos. Once sold, as it is handmade and therefore unique, the pipe will be removed from the website. The actual colour of the pipe may vary slightly from the photo as each monitor has its own colour tone. The dimensions have been measured accurately but may vary by a millimetre, either more or less.
