A smooth, brown ‘Le Nuvole’ pipe, a curved ‘fancy poker’ model with a Cumberland-variegated ebonite mouthpiece. Rated 4 Nuvole. Over the years, Maurizio Tombari has developed his own distinctive range of models, each with its own name to distinguish it. The pipe bowl features a wonderful, even flame pattern across the entire bowl, which is tilted forwards, creating a very pleasing sense of movement. It is large in size and stands out for its spacious bowl, which guarantees excellent smokeability in any situation. Its lightness, resulting from the long curing of the briar, makes it ideal for smoking both whilst out walking and whilst comfortably seated in an armchair. A very convenient pipe as it can be set down without falling over. The smooth Nuvole are graded from 3 to 8 Nuvole depending on the grain. They are crafted in hazelnut, brown, red and amber colours. The briar used is extra-extra quality, and every log is meticulously selected by hand. The Nuvole pipes are the epitome of Italian craftsmanship at the very highest level, with a care and attention to detail that is virtually unrivalled.
