A hazelnut-coloured, sandblasted Silk Cut Radice pipe, a classic straight billiard model with a black methacrylate mouthpiece. Silk Cut rating. The pipe has a classic silhouette that makes it very elegant, with a light-coloured bowl that lends it a touch of class. The bowl is slightly narrower at the top, making it look almost like a brandy pipe. The pipe is medium-sized and stands out for its spacious bowl, ensuring excellent smokeability in any situation. Its lightness makes it ideal for any smoking session, whether out for a walk or comfortably seated in an armchair. It has a beautiful, very dense grain, enhanced by the fine sandblasting. The insert on the stem, made from various coloured woods, is very attractive. A classic that never grows old and is always in style. The Silk Cut series comprises pipes with minor flaws in the briar and a beautiful, regular grain. The sandblasting is achieved by striking the pipe with tiny grains of silica at high pressure, which carve into the soft part of the briar, creating the distinctive pattern of a sandblasted pipe. It is the most robust pipe, as if any small cracks were present, the silica would pierce the briar immediately. The process is lengthy and difficult to execute but yields a final result of great impact. The quality is the same as all other Radice pipes. It is available in hazelnut, brown, black, red and natural colours. An ideal pipe for the warmer months as it warms the hand less. Excellent for walking, given its reduced tendency to show scratches and marks. Radice is one of the Italian artisans offering the best value for money.
