Brown rusticated Sesa pipe, a classic straight Genovese style with a grey/black variegated methacrylate mouthpiece. Rated 3 stars. The pipe makes a strong visual impression, thanks to its original yet clean lines that lend it a superior style. It is very elegant and the long bamboo stem ensures a consistently fresh and dry smoke. The bamboo is also embellished with a few horn beads, adding a further touch of refinement. The pipe features an original finish created by Branko Sesa and sought after worldwide. The craftsmanship is lengthy and meticulous: the rustication actually resembles a deep, symmetrical sandblasting, as seen in Werner Mummert’s pipes. The result is striking; the surface is uneven and deeper than classic sandblasted finishes, and has the advantage of cooling the pipe more effectively. The handle will never feel hot, and the smoking experience remains very pleasant. The grey/black methacrylate mouthpiece has a beautiful variegated colouring that lends the pipe a superior class. The pipe is medium to large in size and is distinguished by a bowl that is more than capable of providing excellent smokeability in any situation. Its lightness makes it ideal for any smoking session, although its length makes it preferable for smoking whilst comfortably seated in an armchair. It is a classic model that remains timeless and a pleasure to hold and smoke. The pipe is also very practical, thanks to the small foot beneath the bowl which allows it to be set down without falling over.
