Ser Jacopo Spongia pipe in a hazelnut-coloured sandblasted finish, a curved ‘fancy bulldog’ model with a black methacrylate mouthpiece. S3 group rating. The pipe makes a striking visual impression thanks to its original shape, reminiscent of the elegance and grace of a flamingo. Its perfect balance allows it to stand upright without falling over. Its pronounced curve makes it very comfortable to hold, as it does not put pressure on the teeth. It is of medium size and features a discreet bowl that ensures excellent smokeability in any situation. Its lightness makes it ideal for any smoking session, whether out for a walk or comfortably seated in an armchair. The Spongia series comprises pipes with minor flaws that are sandblasted or rusticated, yet they feature perfect briar without blemishes and are therefore left in their natural state. They are very rare but have a striking appearance. The craftsmanship is very time-consuming, but the result is certainly impressive. An ideal pipe for the warmer months as it warms the hand less. Excellent for walking given its reduced tendency to develop streaks and marks. A pipe with a striking and original design that highlights the craftsmanship of Ser Jacopo.
