Ser Jacopo Carved Classic Bent Chimney "La Pipaccia" 03 Rodata

Ser Jacopo pipe, carved and seasoned, light brown in colour, classic curved chimney model with black methacrylate mouthpiece. La Pipaccia 03 rating. The pipe has a great visual impact thanks to its unique and distinctive craftsmanship. The fine carving is very pleasant to the touch but without the roughness of rusticated pipes. A very elegant and refined piece that pleases the eye and the hand. The model is very classic, always current, and never tiresome. It is medium/large in size and stands out for its more than capable bowl, which guarantees excellent smokeability in any situation. Its lightness makes it ideal for smoking while walking or sitting comfortably in an armchair. The high bowl ensures consistently fresh smoke. The Pipaccia series was created by Giancarlo Guidi in the 1980s and consisted of three models that shared the same meticulous craftsmanship, which consisted of hand carving to make them look like a candle with wax dripping down the sides of the bowl. The process is very long and laborious, but the result is certainly impressive. This pipe is ideal for the warmer months as it does not heat up the hand as much. Excellent for walking, given its lower propensity for scratches and marks. A pipe with an impressive and original design that highlights the craftsmanship of Ser Jacopo. The pipe is used, smoked well and very little, mainly with natural tobaccos or English mixtures. Rating 9.5 out of 10. The pipe does not have its original bag or box.

Ser Jacopo was founded in 1982 by the expert hands of Giancarlo Guidi. He came from a decade of successful experience at Mastro, of which he was one of the founders. This new adventure began by focusing on pipe mouthpieces, creating true works of art. He used precious metals, stones, horn and exotic woods to give Ser Jacopo pipes a distinctive and new look that many smokers appreciate. Add to this seasoned briar and success is immediate. Giancarlo Guidi is considered the father of what is known as the 'Pesaro school'. He taught the craft to many young people who, as they grew up, started their own workshops. Over the years, these artisans, as a sign of gratitude and esteem, turned to Guidi and called him Maestro. Giancarlo left us in 2012, still full of projects that were never realised, but which would certainly have amazed us. He was an extraordinary person, humble and cultured, a great art lover. The world of pipes lost a true protagonist too soon, and I lost a true friend.

The pipes we sell second-hand are only from the best and most prestigious brands and are rigorously selected by me from private collections. The pipes in question must have been well cared for and smoked, generally having been smoked very little, and are sanitised before being put up for sale. Once selected, they are disinfected and the inside sterilised, the mouthpiece is cleaned and the entire pipe polished, including the bowl and mouthpiece. Casaropipe guarantees that at this point they are ready to continue to give pleasure to a new enthusiast.
