A smooth-finished, brown Orlik Supreme pipe with a black ebonite mouthpiece, model T38 – a classic straight Liverpool style. Rated ‘Supreme’. The pipe makes a striking visual impression thanks to its clean, minimalist lines, which give it a very refined appearance. The pipe is small to medium in size and is characterised by a generous bowl and excellent smokeability in any situation. Its extraordinary lightness makes it ideal for any smoking session, whether out for a walk or sitting comfortably in an armchair. A spectacular and one-of-a-kind piece created in London in the 1970s. This pipe has a beautiful classic silhouette that keeps it timeless and never grows old. Its English-cut grain features a subtle partridge’s eye on one side of the bowl, which fades on the other side, yet the briar’s pattern remains very pleasing. It has been graded ‘Supreme’ – a rating awarded to only a handful of pipes each year – and whilst very difficult to find, these pipes are always highly sought after. The pipe is second-hand, has been smoked well but not excessively,and is in excellent condition.The pipe does not come with its original pouch or box but is supplied with the shop’s own pouch.
The second-hand pipes we deal in are exclusively from the finest and most prestigious brands and are rigorously selected by me from private collections. The pipes in question must have been well looked after and smoked properly; they have generally been smoked very little and are sanitised before being put up for sale. In fact, once selected, they are disinfected and the interior sterilised; the mouthpiece is cleaned and the entire pipe – both the bowl and the mouthpiece – is polished. Casaropipe guarantees that, at this stage, they are ready to continue bringing pleasure to a new enthusiast.
The pipe for sale is exactly as shown in the photographs. Once sold, as it is handmade and therefore unique, the pipe will be removed from the website. The actual colour of the pipe may vary slightly from the photograph, as every monitor displays colours differently. The dimensions have been measured accurately but may vary by up to one millimetre, either way.
