Old Boy Chrome-Plated Pipe Lighter with Smooth Briar Wood Finish

Im Corona Old Boy steel lighter, chrome-plated with a smooth briar coating in a beautiful hazelnut colour, with an adjustable horizontal flame for lighting pipes. Savinelli distributor. The smooth briar-coated case ensures a firm and secure grip, which is very pleasant and gives the lighter a superior class. The lighter is a classic model inspired by 1920s designs, with a visible ignition wheel on the tank. Very comfortable to hold, with a simple design that makes it elegant and refined. It has a flint ignition and never fails, even in cold weather or in the mountains, where piezo ignitions usually malfunction. It has a practical retractable pipe cleaner that blends perfectly into the lighter's timeless design. Like all gas lighters, it must be refilled with high-quality butane gas to prevent damage (i.e. Clipper-type gas, not the blue cans). It comes with an elegant leather case and velvet pouch. It has a 24-month warranty and is serviced by Savinelli. It has always been an expensive lighter (in 1986 it cost between 82,000 and 115,000 lire), but it is still the most popular among smokers today.

Savinelli added the Old Boy lighter to its catalogue in July 1986. It is manufactured by IM Corona in Japan with high-quality materials and proven mechanisms, making it one of the best pipe lighters in the world. Its uniqueness lies in the fact that it can always be repaired, even though it was produced in the 1980s. The tank has a large capacity, which is essential for pipe smokers.

IMPORTANT: Due to postal regulations introduced in 2013, we can no longer ship lighters containing gas. The lighter will be supplied empty and must therefore be filled by the customer.
