Neerup Classic Series pipe, sandblasted in brown with a grey/green variegated methacrylate mouthpiece, straight lovat model. Group 2 rating. Peder Jeppesen’s pipes are characterised by a typically Danish design that he has refined over the years. The shapes are compact and the original, sinuous lines lend his pipes a contemporary elegance, thanks in part to the colours of the mouthpieces. The pipe is large in size and stands out for its almost generous bowl, ensuring excellent smokeability in any situation. Its lightness, whilst not record-breaking, makes it ideal for any smoking session, whether out for a walk or comfortably seated in an armchair. Its grain is enhanced by the fine sandblasting, which gives it an almost silky feel to the touch. The colouring is typical of the craftsman, with a deep, dark, almost black hue that shifts towards rust, creating beautiful shades that lend the pipe a superior class. The golden band is very attractive and unpretentious, yet highly elegant and refined. The seasoned briar of Italian origin comes into its own after just a few smokes. An ideal pipe for the warmer months as it warms the hand less. Excellent for carrying about given its reduced tendency to show scratches and marks. The Neerup series consists of machine-rough-cut pipes finished by hand. The quality is excellent, on a par with Peder Jeppesen pipes, but the price is significantly lower. An excellent opportunity to try a superb Danish-style pipe.
The pipe for sale is exactly the one shown in the photos. Once sold, as it is handmade and therefore unique, the pipe will be removed from the site. The actual colour of the pipe may vary slightly from the photo as every monitor has its own colour tone. The dimensions have been measured accurately but may vary by a millimetre, either way.
