The pipe is very refined, with its simple, clean lines that also lend it an air of elegance. Its standout feature is its deep, dark colour, which elevates it to a higher level. The nickel ferrule is very attractive, lending it a sense of preciousness. Its flamed finish is subtle but not uniform; the wood grain is nonetheless very beautiful and lends it grace and class. It is a quintessentially classic model, timeless and never tiresome. It is also excellent for carrying around as an everyday pipe. In the hand, it almost feels like a toy, yet it is worth far more than its weight suggests. The pipe is small to medium in size and features a more than adequate bowl, ensuring excellent smokeability in any situation. Its lightness makes it ideal for smoking whilst out for a walk or whilst comfortably seated in an armchair.
