A dark brown rusticated Rind briar pipe, a classic straight Liverpool style with a pearl-yellow methacrylate mouthpiece. The pipe has a classic silhouette that makes it very elegant, with the dark colour lending it a touch of class. The pipe is medium-sized and features a bowl designed for excellent smokeability in any situation. Its lightness makes it ideal for any smoking session, whether out for a walk or comfortably seated in an armchair. Its defining feature is the smooth, contrasting carved rim of the bowl, which gives it a refined and very stylish look. A small detail that makes a big difference. The bowl, tilted forwards, gives it a sense of movement. The Rind series comprises pipes that do not have a regular grain and feature some minor imperfections in the briar. The rustic finish is hand-carved using gouges to etch the wood, a process that is both lengthy and labour-intensive. Paradoxically, these are the pipes that require the most work yet are the most affordable. The quality is the same as all other Radice pipes. It is available in hazelnut, brown, black, red and natural. An ideal pipe for the warmer months as it heats the hand less. Excellent for carrying around given its reduced tendency to show scratches and marks. Radice is one of the Italian artisans offering the best value for money.
The pipe for sale is exactly the one shown in the photos. Once sold, as it is handmade and therefore unique, the pipe will be removed from the website. The actual colour of the pipe may vary slightly from the photo as every monitor has its own colour tone. The dimensions have been measured accurately but may vary by a millimetre, either way.
