A smooth, hazelnut-coloured Fiamma di Re pipe, in an egg-shaped curved design with a black methacrylate mouthpiece. Rated 3 Crowns. The pipe is very elegant and refined, with a compact shape that makes it very comfortable to smoke, especially whilst out and about. It features a fine silver ferrule that enhances its silhouette. The flamed finish is even and very beautiful, with a lovely partridge’s eye pattern on the front of the bowl and fine horizontal veining on the sides. This is what was once known as ‘angel’s wing’ flamed finish. The distinctive feature of this model is the square shank, which joins the round bowl with masterful grace and absolute perfection. It is these details that highlight the skill and stature of the craftsman. The pipe is of medium size and is characterised by a bowl capable of providing excellent smokeability in any situation. Its lightness makes it ideal for any smoking session, whether out for a walk or comfortably seated in an armchair. The ‘Corone’ series comprises pipes that are free from defects and have a more or less regular grain. Depending on the beauty of the grain, the pipes are marked with one, two or three ‘Corone’. In addition to these, there are the ‘fiammate’, which are perfect pipes that are rarely seen.
The pipe for sale is exactly as shown in the photos. Once sold, as it is handmade and therefore unique, the pipe will be removed from the website. The actual colour of the pipe may vary slightly from the photo, as every monitor has its own colour tone. The dimensions have been measured accurately but may vary by a millimetre, either way.
