A red, sandblasted Dunhill Ruby Bark pipe, classic curved chimney model number 4412, with a traditional black ebonite mouthpiece and a fine silver ring. Rating: 4. The pipe is very elegant, and its dark, warm colour lends it a touch of class. Its defining feature is the tall, narrow bowl, ensuring a consistently cool and dry smoke. Its slender, clean lines give it a superior style. A highly classy model that is one of Dunhill’s most refined. The pipe is of medium size and is distinguished by a discreet bowl for excellent smokeability in any situation; it is a classic curved Dunhill model. Its lightness makes it ideal for any smoking session, whether out for a walk or comfortably seated in an armchair. A classic that never grows old and is always in vogue. The Ruby Bark is one of the most recent series introduced by Dunhill, specifically in 2007. Before this, there was already a red sandblasted pipe, the Redbark, which was introduced in 1972 and went out of production in 1987. The colour was darker, more burgundy than red, and it did not feature a silver mouthpiece. The Ruby Bark takes its place, but the price includes a 6 mm silver mouthpiece. The sandblasting is very delicate, giving the pipe a ‘soft’ effect. The pipe was produced in 2017.
The pipe for sale is exactly the one shown in the photos. Once sold, as it is handmade and therefore unique, the pipe will be removed from the website. The actual colour of the pipe may vary slightly from the photo as every monitor has its own colour tone. The dimensions have been measured accurately but may vary by a millimetre, either way.
