The pipe is very elegant and its dark, warm colour gives it a superior class. Its characteristic feature is the remarkable length of the mouthpiece for consistently fresh and dry smokes. Its name is a tribute to the famous American showman who only smoked this model. Its slender, clean lines give it a superior style. A very classy model, it is one of Dunhill's most refined. The pipe is medium/large in size and stands out for its more than capable bowl, which ensures excellent smokeability in any situation; it is a classic straight model from Dunhill. Its lightness makes it ideal for smoking while walking or sitting comfortably in an armchair. A classic that never tires and is always current. The bottom of the stem is flat, which also makes it very convenient as it can be placed down without falling over. A classy pipe that is worth owning. The Cumberland was introduced in 1979. Sandblasted brown with a mouthpiece (now called Cumberland) streaked with shades of brown, reddish and antique pink. The rim of the bowl is sometimes smooth, sometimes sandblasted. Originally, it was only smooth and shiny. The sandblasting is very delicate, giving the pipe a 'soft' effect. The pipe was produced in 2020.

They are graded from 1 to 6 according to their size, with 1 being the smallest and 6 the largest.
If, after more than a century, Dunhill is still one of the most sought-after and beloved pipes, it is perhaps due to Alfred's motto, which is still applied today in production: 'Nothing but the best'.
