A smooth burgundy-coloured Dunhill Bruyère pipe, model 3214, a classic curved Dublin style with a traditional black ebonite mouthpiece. Rating: 3. The pipe is very elegant and its dark, warm colour is a classic. It is of medium size and features a generously sized bowl, ensuring excellent smokeability in any situation; it is a classic curved model from Dunhill. Its lightness makes it ideal for smoking both whilst out walking and whilst comfortably seated in an armchair. A classic that never grows old and is always in style. The low, wide bowl is ideal for flake tobaccos as it allows for greater aeration, enabling you to appreciate every subtle nuance. Personally, I am very fond of this model as it has been crafted with a stem that is slightly thicker than is usually seen. Furthermore, the bowl is beautifully spacious, which is not often the case with this model and makes it unique and wonderful. The Bruyère was introduced in 1910, marked with an ‘A’ signifying ‘best quality’ on the side of the shank until 1975; until 1934, the shank was marked ‘INNER TUBE’. It was the only finish available from 1910 to 1917, and the colour is the iconic very dark reddish hue. La Bruyère is considered the quintessential Dunhill. The pipe was produced in 2023.

The actual colour of the pipe may vary slightly from the photo as every monitor has its own colour tone. The dimensions have been measured accurately but may vary by a millimetre, either way.
