Castello Sea Rock pipe, brown rustic finish with a black methacrylate mouthpiece, classic semi-curved pot model 17. 2K rating. The defining feature of this model is its small, unconventional dimensions compared to Castello’s standard production. It almost looks like a mini pipe, but its classic design makes it elegant and timeless. Its deep, dark colour gives it a very refined look, accentuated by its clean, minimalist lines, making it an extraordinary piece. A very pleasant pipe to hold; it almost feels like a toy, yet is capable of providing great satisfaction. This model is the classic pot, always in style and never tiresome. The low, wide bowl is ideal for flake tobaccos as it allows them to breathe more freely, enabling you to appreciate every subtle nuance. The base of the stem is slightly flattened, making it very convenient as it can be set down without falling over. The pipe is small in size and stands out for its discreet bowl and excellent smokeability in any situation, whether out for a walk or sitting comfortably in an armchair. An unusual pipe for Castello, but one with great charm. The Sea Rock series comprises pipes with minor flaws in the briar and irregular grain. The rustic finish is hand-carved using gouges to etch the wood, a very long and laborious process. Paradoxically, these are the pipes that require the most work yet are the least expensive. The quality is on a par with all other Castello pipes. An ideal pipe for the warmer months as it warms the hand less. Excellent for walking given its reduced tendency to develop scratches and marks.

The actual colour of the pipe may vary slightly from the photo as every monitor has its own colour tone. The dimensions have been measured accurately but may vary by a millimetre, either way.
