It has a striking visual impact thanks to its clean, essential lines, with its cylindrical bowl and contrasting rusticated stem. The aesthetic appearance is also remarkable thanks to the 'pongo' style stem. It is very comfortable as it can be rested without falling over. The poker is a particular model, which you either like or dislike, but which has a personality all of its own. This one in particular has a tall chimney-type bowl that always provides a fresh smoke. Its roundness makes it very pleasant to hold, with perfect ergonomics. The pipe is medium/large in size and stands out for its more than capable bowl and excellent smokeability in all situations; it is a classic straight model from Castello, much appreciated by smokers. It has a beautiful English cut flame with a fine bird's eye pattern on two-thirds of the bowl. A wonderful piece that is well worth owning. The Castello Castello series features pipes with no defects in the briar and a subtle, irregular but present grain. The series is positioned above the Trade Mark but below the Collection, which in turn is a pipe with a present, regular and compact flame. The quality is the same as all other Castello pipes. It is available in hazelnut, brown, black, red and natural colours. The ideal pipe for those who want a Castello with a discreet grain but at a lower price than the Collection.

He hired the best craftsmen to create pipes with harmonious shapes and perfect finishes, using impeccable construction techniques. The name Castello was chosen with foresight as it is similar and recognisable in many languages. Furthermore, Castello is synonymous with solidity, power and admiration. Over the years, Carlo Scotti was joined by his son-in-law Franco Coppo, who now runs the artisan workshop. Castello's strength is based on several factors. Firstly, the expert craftsmen who shape the briar with their decades of experience and skill. Secondly, the long-aged briar, which guarantees light and dry pipes. Finally, the rigour of Carlo Scotti first and Franco Coppo later in creating the best possible product that reflects excellent aesthetics without neglecting functionality.
