A smooth-finished, light brown Butz Choquin Granada pipe with a black ebonite mouthpiece, classic straight Canadian model 1650. Granada grade. The pipe makes a striking visual impression thanks to its clean, simple lines, which lend it a superior air of class. Thanks to the length of its stem, this pipe consistently delivers a fresh and dry smoke. The pipe features beautiful English-cut flamed grain with a fabulous partridge’s eye pattern on one side of the bowl, which fades away on the other, though the wood grain remains attractive throughout. The pipe is of medium size and stands out for its more than decent bowl and excellent smokeability in any situation. Its lightness makes it ideal for any smoking session, whether out for a walk or sitting comfortably in an armchair. Precisely because of its lightness, it’s a pipe you’ll want to carry around as an everyday pipe. This pipe has an elegant and refined silhouette – a timeless classic that never grows old. Butz Choquin is one of the oldest and most famous French pipe manufacturers, still in full operation today. Production takes place in Saint-Claude and consists mainly of mass-produced pipes. The pipe is second-hand, has been smoked well but not excessively, and is in very good condition.The pipe does not come with its original pouch or box but is supplied with the shop’s own pouch.
The second-hand pipes we deal in are exclusively from the finest and most prestigious brands and are rigorously selected by me from private collections. The pipes in question must have been well looked after and smoked properly; they have generally been smoked very little and are sanitised before being put up for sale. In fact, once selected, they are disinfected and the interior sterilised; the mouthpiece is cleaned and the entire pipe – both the bowl and the mouthpiece – is polished. Casaropipe guarantees that, at this stage, they are ready to continue bringing pleasure to a new enthusiast.
The pipe for sale is exactly as shown in the photographs. Once sold, as it is handmade and therefore unique, the pipe will be removed from the website. The actual colour of the pipe may vary slightly from the photograph, as every monitor displays colours differently. The dimensions have been measured accurately but may vary by up to one millimetre, either way.
