This pipe is very elegant and refined, with a classic, timeless design that never goes out of style. Its distinctive feature is the flat bottom of the bowl, which makes it very convenient as it can be placed down without falling over. Its incredible lightness makes it ideal for carrying around as an everyday pipe. There is no flaming, but the briar wood still has a beautiful grain and is free of defects. Very pleasant to hold, even when unlit. The pipe is medium in size and stands out for its bowl, which is capable of excellent smoking in any situation. Its lightness makes it ideal for smoking while walking or sitting comfortably in an armchair. The Lisce series are pipes that have no defects and have a regular and dense grain as the asterisks increase.
Salvatore Amorelli was a goldsmith by profession, and this can be seen in the creativity of his designs. Even the most inveterate smokers have to make an effort before using Amorelli pipes, as they usually give the impression of being jewellery rather than smoking implements. His general hallmark, common to all his pipes, is the 18-carat gold bar applied to the stem and mouthpiece, which must be aligned to perfectly join the two elements. Amorelli started producing pipes in 1982 out of passion, always using the best part of the famous Sicilian briar, known for its lightness and porosity. Before Amorelli and his nine collaborators work on the rough cuts, they are seasoned in the Sicilian open air for five years to allow for slow drying. To document the perfection of the wood even inside the bowl, Salvatore Amorelli does not brush on charcoal powder. The quality of the raw material and excellent workmanship guarantee smoking pleasure at a surprisingly affordable price.
